Kayaking & PADDLE BOARDING

We are so lucky to have a beautiful canal wind through our land. We regularly enjoy paddleboarding or kayaking with the family along the canal so if this is your thing why not bring your own along with you and enjoy some time on the water.  If you wanted to explore other places we have Manley Mere - Sail Sport and Adventure trail close by and Wild Shore Delamere locally too. Both amazing fun for all ages.

BIKING TRAILS

Another family fave is heading out on the bikes. There are some lovely bike rides straight from your door or if you wanted to travel a little further we have the stunning Delamere Forest a short drive away.

walking & hiking

We are so lucky to have access to some stunning walks right on our doorstep at Little Ranch Glamping. Follow the footpaths which will take through some stunning countryside for miles and miles. Another option would be to take a wander along the picturesque canal path. Depending on how far you would like to go you could end up in either Nantwich or Wrenbury where you will find a scrummy coffee and cake.

PLACES TO visit

We wouldn't blame you if you wanted to just stay at Little Ranch Glamping and enjoy what's immediately surrounding you but if you did want to venture a little further afield here some places of interest we thoroughly enjoy visiting.

Nantwich our lovely local Market Town.

Nantwich is a wonderful town with some fantastic restaurants and cafes.

We love visiting the outdoor pool during the warmer months and the indoor is great all year round.

Nantwich Lake is also a lovely place to go. We often park the car there, feed the ducks and swans then take a short wander into town and visit our favourite Dog Cafe 'Charlie & Co'.

There are also some lovely boutique, independent and fab charity shops to choose from if you have the time and the children allow it.

Delamere Forest

This is one our 'go to' places. Amazing trails for both walking and biking. Segway, Go Ape and a great cafe which is child and dog friendly.

Crocky Trail

A place like no other...a farmers take on Alton Towers. It really is one of the funniest days you can have with the family. Highly recommend.

Manley Mere and Adventure Trail

An awesone lake with lots of watersports to choose from and an epic adventure trail with clever obstables to navigate. A CHANGE OF CLOTHES ALWAYS RECOMMENDED!

Bewilderwood

A magical outdoor park with super cool slides, zip wires, treetop courses, story telling and den building.

Snugbury's Icecream

Just a couple of miles from us you cannot leave without visiting this place. Not only do they sell the most delicious ice cream but there's also cute pigs, a goat and a wonderful wildflower walk which leads you to their enormous straw bee statue.

Chester

The City of Chester is well worth a visit with its quirky streets and buildings. Take a walk around the Roman Walls and learn all about the history of this magnificent City.
